The purpose of education is to prepare students for the future challenges.
Especially in this technology-driven society, it is imperative for kids to understand the new technologies and use them in a positive and beneficial way.
Moreover, using the colorful and graphical content of lectures, quizzes and exams in an interactive experience; particularly enriched with audios and videos; improves the motor skills and helps in enhancing memory and quickly recall abilities of the students.
Using an educational tool like FlipSnack EDU is a superb new way to add some flair and motivation for the students in contrast to any traditional assignment, a short story, an essay, or even a simple paragraph for homework, for which they have to write something. This is something that makes it compared to other FlipSnack alternatives unique.

FlipSnack Alternatives
FlipSnack is an astonishing web tool for digital publishing but there are also numerous other online platforms which can be seen as FlipSnack alternatives or Joomag competitors.
You can also have a look at them and choose as per your needs. A couple of them are YumpuPublishing, Issuu, Publitas, Lucidpress and Joomag. You can find a Joomag write-up here.
Hopefully you enjoyed reading this FlipSnack review, keep coming back and continue reading more articles like this.

I agree! It’s a great overview to see what you get as a publisher and as a client.

Nice Flipsnack review - simple is always good! I’ll give it a try!
December 27, 2016 at
Great – you can actually customize your flipbook/magazine!
December 27, 2016 at
Can I also customize my design with another publishing tool? Or is flipsnack the only one who provides that kind of feature?
December 28, 2016 at
I like the listing of features for the readers! Can you do it for other publishing tools like Joomag, YumpuPublishing etc. as well?
December 28, 2016 at
We are working on it

Hello anna. I super satisfied with YumpuPublishing. I worked with issuu first but thought of changing to another provider – just out of curiosity. What I really liked – still like – about YumpuPublishing is that you can embed audio or video into your magazines and whenever I had problems I just wrote to the customer support service of YumpuPublishing – super helpful and they always replied within 2 days.
December 29, 2016 at
Thank you for the feedback Carrrlaaa! It’s always nice to get some responses of users to the publishing tools.
December 30, 2016 at
Is YumpuPublishing really the best alternative? Is there anyone – besides the author of this article – who made his/her experience with YumpuPublishing?
December 30, 2016 at
I have never heard about flipnsack edu! That sounds really exciting. Did anyone tested it yet?

Flipsnack offers good, detailed statistics that have helped me realize how to better promote my flipbooks and also what other flipbooks I should be creating (since my readers would want to read those).
January 2, 2018 at
Their statistics are indeed very helpful and you should use them to see where people are coming from. The more you delve in the statistics, the more you can improve things.

Good Flipsnack review. I especially like the live chat option. I like to get a quick reply when I have questions and their people are well prepared and friendly. I am very happy with them.
January 2, 2018 at
Yes, Flipsnack’s support staff is very well prepared and will usually have an answer for you within 10 minutes if not less.
January 11, 2018 at
I’m crazy about their flip sounds! It’s one of the best things I’ve used from a flipbook creator. They have many other cool things that you can add but this is my favorite.
January 11, 2018 at
Yep, they’ve got nice sounds :).
January 11, 2018 at
Flipsnack offers a lot of customization and is a pretty good flipbook maker. I haven’t tested all of them yet (still need to take a look at Issuu and YumpuPublishing) but this one is pretty good.
January 11, 2018 at
Let us know how the testing goes and which one you like more!
January 20, 2018 at
There are a lot of features not just for publishers but also for readers and since I want my readers to get the best experience possible, I love Flipsnack.
January 20, 2018 at
Flipsnack is pretty interesting in that regard. Not all of the tools we’ve used have such a wide array of “goodies” for the reader.
January 25, 2018 at
Although Issuu is much more known, I still think there are plenty of other software that can get close to what it offers and Flipsnack & YumpuPublishing are one of them.
January 25, 2018 at
Issuu advertises more and is generally more widely known but I agree that there are options that might be better suited to some people.
January 25, 2018 at
Flipsnack EDU is a great step forward to making lessons fun again and making children want to learn. More companies should implement such a thing and put much more emphasis on kids’ learning.
January 27, 2018 at
Wouldn’t that be great? If more companies would invest just a tiny percent in time and money into programs geared towards children, our future generations would be greatly changed for the better.
February 3, 2018 at
“Tooltips in 27 languages” – this is something very cool that you don’t see often. And there’s also the option of multiple flip books in one widget that I like. Flipsnack looks quite interesting.
February 3, 2018 at
Yes, the number of languages is impressive and they do have a lot of interesting features. Take your time with it and you’ll find it can do a LOT.
February 6, 2018 at
I like their two page layout, their support of right to left orientation (which not many similar software do) and their compatibility with wireless presenters.
February 10, 2018 at
Live chat is what sold it for me. I can’t stand having to wait 1-2 days for a reply I need now. Plus sometimes the reply they give in an email might not be the right one or require another email from me.
February 10, 2018 at
@Brody – Those are some of their best features but there’s also many others you should test if you haven’t already.
@Angela – Live chat is always nice and I think every company should have one. I also like to get a reply quickly.
